About Us
Born in the Bronx of Caribbean descent Masani Mulraine has lived her entire life in New York City. Coming from a harsh environment and a disadvantaged home Masani realized her imagination was a venue by which ideas and dreams could become reality.
Pursuing a career in the arts, Masani studied at Pratt Institute's School of Art and Design in Brooklyn. While attending she took a job as assistant designer with Manu Designs from 1987-88. A graduate, armed with a B.F.A. in Fashion Merchandising and an M.A. in Jewelry Design, she was recruited by famed SoHo designer Robert Lee Morris to assist on his line of "organic pieces" from 1993 - 97. Since then she has successfully designed, produced and distributed her own work to various retail stores and boutiques including Canal Jeans Co., Charivari, Knapps, Pieces and Redberri.
What We Do
Masani Mulraine blends her Afro-Caribbean aesthetic with sleek, geometrical forms to create a unique line of "wearable sculptures". Handcrafted out of sterling silver, gold, coral and other natural materials, Masani Wearable Sculptures are one of a kind works of art that reflect the underlying complexity of minimalist concepts and designs.
